I was hit by a drunk driver in 1995, broke my neck, had two botched surgeries and tried everything under the sun to relieve the pain and now find I can't get any help because I am on Medicare and Pain Management is a joke in this country! I feel like filing a lawsuit to bring attention to this. The PM groups make you jump through hoops, try to force you into expensive steroid shots or other procedures and treat you like part of a herd of cattle, or a two year old and I am sick of it.
Drug addicts have ruined it for everyone with real pain, also big Pharm groups, corrupt politicians and stupid medical office help make it torture to get pain relief. I don't know what to do. Few PM groups will take Medicare patients and have too many patients anyway. They make you go through an approval process that takes weeks or months, then treat you like a criminal and you are at their every whim, getting you on the narcotics, increasing them and then holding it over your head to get you to do every expensive procedure regardless if they work or not, profit... not care is the motivation.
